LONDON: Films from Sony Pictures Television (SPT) are set to become available on the curated VOD service MUBI following a multiyear distribution partnership between the two companies.

The deal, exclusive to the U.K. market, brings Sony films such as Taxi Driver, Closer, Punch-Drunk Love, All That Jazz, Adaptation, Dr. Strangelove, Buffalo 66 and Snatch to MUBI’s library. MUBI’s service spotlights a new film for its members each day. Members can view the films on multiple connected devices and they can even rate and review titles for other users.

MUBI recently secured deals with other distributors, including Entertainment One, Icon and STUDIOCANAL.

As our industry and consumer habits continue to evolve, it is increasingly important to ensure film fans have access to high quality entertainment wherever and whenever they want and this new partnership with Sony Pictures Television will allow us to deliver an even richer experience for our members.”
