BBC Orders Returning & New Entertainment Titles

LONDON: The BBC has commissioned a host of new entertainment shows for its various networks, ranging from reality titles to game show formats.

For BBC One, Stellify Media will produce Can’t Touch This, a game show where contestants can win a prize if they manage to touch it while dealing with an assault course. Victory Television Scotland’s quiz show Win Your Wish List returns for a second season, while 12 Yard Scotland and Boom Cymru (a Twofour company) will co-produce Five Star Family Reunion. Who Dares Wins will return for a further eight episodes, along with a new run of In It To Win It, both also from 12 Yard Scotland. Meanwhile, the network has ordered a pilot for Perfect Match, produced by the BBC’s In-house Entertainment team, and has re-commissioned Objective Scotland’s Now You See It for another series.

Over on BBC Two, the Parasol Media and RDF Television co-pro Only Connect has been greenlit for a second run, along with a pilot for the competition format Airheads, which is being produced by So Television. Objective Scotland is also behind BBC Three’s returning Killer Magic, while BBC Four has ordered the tentatively titled quiz show The Hive from Green Inc Film & Television and Saltbeef TV.
