TCB Media Rights Hires New Sales & Acquisitions Manager

LONDON: TCB Media Rights has brought in Anna Budashevskaya, a former TVF International exec, to help strengthen producer relationships.

Budashevskaya will join TCB as the sales and acquisitions manager for the Nordic, Benelux and Central and Eastern European territories in August, as maternity cover for Karen Connell. She will also work closely with company CEO Paul Heaney and a growing community of indie producers to help nurture new projects with creative and commercial traction.

The exec previously worked at TVF International, where she was responsible for generating and negotiating sales across Eastern Europe and the Nordic territories in her role as senior sales executive.

“Distributors these days need to strike a balance between being realistic and understanding on the sales front, while fighting tenaciously for the best deal for their producers,” Heaney said. “As her credentials demonstrate, Anna uses persistence, outright talent and personality with the right blend. She will be a valuable addition to TCB Media Rights’ team, helping us to break new ground geographically, creatively and commercially.”
