MTG Extends Rights for Danish Superliga Coverage

STOCKHOLM: Modern Times Group (MTG) has extended for six more seasons its exclusive rights on all platforms to the soccer league Danish Superliga.

The new agreement has MTG holding the live-coverage rights to the first, third, fourth and sixth pick matches in all 33 rounds of the season, totaling 792 live games through the deal’s end at the 2020/21 season. Also included are the rights to the NordicBet Liga, the second-tier soccer league, as well as all rounds from the DBU Polaken national football association cup. MTG picked up the rights from Divisionsforeningen, the Danish League association. MTG's soccer coverage airs on the free-TV channels TV3, TV3+ and TV3 PULS; on the pay-TV sports networks TV3 Sport1 and TV3 Sport2; and on the online pay-TV service Viaplay.
