New Country Manager for SPI in Hungary

NEW YORK: SPI International has named Tamás Fülöp as the country manager for SPI in Hungary.

In his new role, Fülöp's duties include overseeing the distribution, marketing and business operations of both FilmBox movie channels. He is also handling FightBox HD, FashionBox HD, DocuBox HD, 360 TuneBox, Fast&FunBox and Erox, all of which are scheduled to launch in the country soon.

Fülöp has more than 12 years of management experience working in the areas of pay-TV, cable distribution, VOD services, telecommunications and advertising. He previously served in top positions at such companies as HBO, TV2 and Viva+.
