Paris Gears Up for Series Mania Festival

PARIS: The fifth edotopm of the Series Mania Festival is slated to take place at the Forum des images in Paris, France, from April 22 to 30.

This year's event will host the second edition of the European TV Series Co-Production Forum, which aims to find co-producing partners for various projects. The selection committee received 80 submissions from 19 countries. Among those, ten projects were chosen from Spain, the U.K., France, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Israel, Sweden and Poland. Producers include Plural Entertainment, Kaboom Film & TV, Mademoiselle Films, Haut et Court and July August Prod., Caviar Films, Next Entertainment International, Wazawi Entertainment, Inosan Productions, Baluba Productions and TVN.

The forum, supported by MEDIA and the CNC, will be held from April 23 to 25. It has already lured a number of representatives from North America who are interested in European production. Companies confirmed to attend include eOne, AMC Networks/Sundance Channel, Universal Pictures and Amazon.
