Zodiak Rights to Rep Russian Feature Film

LONDON: Zodiak Rights has picked up the international distribution rights for Legend 17, a Russian ice hockey biopic starring Danila Kozlovsky and Oleg Menshikov.

Legend 17 tells the true story of ice hockey legend Valeri Kharlamov, who was at the height of his career during the 1970s. The production was the second-highest grossing film in Russia of all time. It is produced by Leonid Vereschagin at Nikita Mikhalkov's Three T Productions.

Anne Feret, the head of theatrical sales at Zodiak Rights, remarked: "The numerous action scenes in the film are gripping, and with the Olympic Games in Sochi, now is the perfect time to launch the film internationally."
