Eyeworks Exec Takes On New Role

AMSTERDAM: Esben Halding, the managing director of Eyeworks Denmark, will now also serve as the head of Nordic cooperation for Eyeworks Group.

In his new position, Esben will be expected to strengthen the collaboration between the Nordic territories within Eyeworks Group, which include Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland. He will also be responsible for making sure that ideas and formats are exchanged efficiently, while helping to expand Eyeworks' companies in the Nordic region.

Halding stated: "I see interesting growth potential in the Nordic region. All our companies have a different background in terms of what kind of programs we develop and produce, and a successful exchange of ideas, formats and skills, are essential if we shall fulfill our ambition to become a top player in the Nordic region as a whole. With less accessible international formats, it's more important than ever that we support each other in sales of our own original IP and Eyeworks Group formats."

Robert van den Bogaard, the head of television and COO of Eyeworks Group, added: "We have known Esben now for five years and he is doing a great job in Denmark.
