New MD for FremantleMedia’s Danish Production Arm

LONDON: FremantleMedia has named Anne Brostrom as its managing director for Blu, the company's production division in Denmark.

In her new role, which is effective January 1, 2014, Brostrom will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of Blu. She will also be expected to manage the strategic vision of the business, develop programming for the Danish market and sell FremantleMedia formats in the country. She will work under Daniela Matei, the CEO for the Nordics, Eastern Europe and the Balkans (NOREEBA) and will be a member of the NOREEBA senior management team.

Brostrom previously served as commissioning editor for TV3. Throughout her career she has contributed to the production of Paradise Hotel, The Audience, Take Me Out and Hell's Kitchen.
