Metronome Rebranded as Shine Finland, New MD in Place

STOCKHOLM: Metronome Film & Television is being rebranded as Shine Finland, with Tarja Pääkkönen tapped to take on the role of managing director on a permanent basis.

Pääkkönen had been serving as the company's interim MD since June. She said: “It is with pleasure that I become managing director of a company supported by a highly motivated team, and Shine Group's international network and experience. Our fresh, creative team of Anne Wahlström, Tatu Ferchen and Alex Laszlo has renewed our operations, and I believe this will quickly become evident to our clients, and our TV audiences. The change of the company name to Shine Finland Oy is the external sign of this internal revitalization.”
