i24news Debuts in Spain on CANAL+

MADRID: The recently launched international news channel i24news, which is based in Israel, has secured carriage with Spanish DTH operator CANAL+.

The news channel launches today in Spain, offering an array of international news told through the eyes of the Israeli society in all its diversity. i24news launched in July and is broadcast for the port of Jaffa in Israel.

Laurent Malek, the chief marketing and commercial officer at i24news, said: "We are pleased to expand our distribution in Spain, one of many territories to be launched in Europe in the next following months."
