ISTANBUL: Andrew Sime, Global Agency's head of acquisitions, is leaving the company at the end of the month, with Umay Ayaz taking over the responsibilities.

Sime has been with Global Agency since 2009. Ayaz will now be handling Global Agency's international acquisitions as acquisitions manager.

Sime said: “When I joined the company four years ago, it had one main format, and one main drama series. Since then, Global Agency has become one of the biggest sellers of Turkish dramas, and is home to a fantastic array of proven formats from around the world. We've taken the catalogue to the next level, and with Izzet's hunger for growth, I'm sure the company will go from strength to strength.”

Izzet Pinto, Global Agency's CEO, added: “Andrew has been with the Global Agency family since the early days of the company and has added great value to the brand. I would like to wish him great success on his new path.”
