Netflix Debuts in the Netherlands

AMSTERDAM: Netflix is now available in the Netherlands, delivering instant access to a range of TV shows and movies for streaming, including a number of Dutch titles.

Netflix originals such as House of Cards, Hemlock Grove, the latest season of Arrested Development and Orange is the New Black will be available exclusively in the Netherlands starting tomorrow. At launch, there are previous full seasons of U.S. series such as Dexter, Homeland, Lost, Modern Family and The Vampire Diaries, along with popular British series, including Luther and Sherlock and the Scandinavian hits The Killing and The Bridge. Movie offerings include The Kite Runner, The King's Speech and documentaries such as Food Inc., Man vs. Wild and We are Legions: The Story of the Hacktivists.

Among the Dutch titles being offered are the feature films Alles is Liefde, All Stars 2: Old Stars and Sonny Boy. Dutch comedy featured includes Spiksplinter and Branding.

There's also content for kids and families, including the series Adventure Time, My Little Pony, The Adventures of Tintin and the features Kikkerdril, Ratatouille and Wall-E.

The service is being offered for 7.99 euros per month.
