NATPE Budapest Spotlight: ITV-Inter Medya

BUDAPEST: The CEE region has long been a fertile territory for business for ITV-Inter Medya, which is looking to continue its success by presenting buyers at NATPE Budapest with the crime drama 20 Minutes and the drama series Red Scarf.

Both shows are produced by Turkey’s Ay Yapim. ITV-Inter Medya will also be discussing the comedy The Harem at the market.

“NATPE Budapest is a gate for us that opens up to Central and Eastern Europe, which is one of the most important markets for Turkish productions,” says Can Okan, the president and CEO of ITV-Inter Medya. “We are expecting a significant change in business volume in comparison with last year. We believe that this market will be the [rebound] point of the downward trend in sales in Central and Eastern Europe for us.”
