Studio Hamburg Enterprises Names New GM

MAINZ/HAMBURG: On June 1 Christian Rönsch will become the new general manager of Studio Hamburg Enterprises, a collaboration between Studio Hamburg Distribution & Marketing and ZDF Enterprises.

For the past decade and a half, Rönsch has served in several executive positions at a number of firms. Over the last five years, he held such roles as CEO of FilmConfect and managing director of FilmConfect Home Entertainment. Before that he was the sales director of in2movies, a joint venture of Bertelsmann/arvato and Warner Bros.

"Thanks to Christian Rönsch’s experience of many years in leading positions in the home-entertainment branch, he will be focusing on providing new impulses, especially in distribution and marketing, but also in the strategic direction of the firm," said Peter Thiem, the general manager of Studio Hamburg Distribution & Marketing.
