Dirk Schweitzer Joins Splendid Film

COLOGNE: Dirk Schweitzer, who has worked at the German companies RTL Television and Tele München Group, has taken on the role of managing director of Splendid Film.

Splendid Film is part of the Splendid Medien group, which is an independent producer, distributor and licensor. In the new role, Schweitzer will be managing the company’s licensing business for TV and home entertainment for German-speaking Europe.

Schweitzer previously spent a decade as the head of programs and acquisitions for RTL Television. He then joined TMG as the managing director, resigning last year.
