Success for ORF-Enterprise at German Screenings

VIENNA: ORF-Enterprise sold a number of titles at this year’s German Screenings, which took place earlier this week at the Westin Grand Hotel in Berlin.

ORF-brand UNIVERSUM nature documentaries were a big hit for the distributor at the German TV-program market. The two-part Danube: Europe’s Amazon is slated for broadcast in Italy and Iran and a UNIVERSUM package was purchased in Russia. Similarly, Schladming: Magic Mountains, another two-parter, was picked up in Hungary, Poland and Switzerland.

The political documentary National Dreams went to Switzerland, France, Hungary, Slovenia and Croatia. Other sales were made for fictional properties such as Cop Stories, Paul Kemp—No Big Deal and the Tatort episodes "Pawn Sacrifice" and "Mispackaged," all of which are headed to Slovenia.
