Zodiak Rights Undergoes Restructure

LONDON/PARIS: Jane Millichip is exiting her post as managing director of Zodiak Rights in the wake of a restructure for the London- and Paris-based distribution businesses.

Under the company’s new arrangement, the business will be divided into five genre-based distribution areas: non-scripted programming, scripted programming, kids, digital and publishing and clips. Starting January 1, 2013, all non-scripted programming will be handled out of London, while all scripted programming is dealt with out of Paris. All other divisions will be based out of London.

Amid the restructure, Millichip is leaving her post at the end of January 2013. Zodiak Rights is currently searching for a head of the new non-scripted division, with an announcement to be made in due course. Zodiak Rights has created a new role, COO, tapping Sara Wookey to fill the post. Wookey has held a variety of roles at such companies as Sparrowhawk Media, Viacom/Nickelodeon, Discovery Network and KidsCo.
