MTG Studios Hires Jens Eriksson for COO Post

STOCKHOLM: Jens Eriksson, who most recently served as the COO of Zodiak Media Group Nordic, is stepping into the role of president and chief operating officer at MTG Studios.

The appointment is effective January 8, 2013. MTG Studios, formerly Modern Studios, is owned by the Modern Times Group and has a presence in 12 countries. It is comprised of the format producer Strix and its distribution arm Strix International, as well as the production group Paprika and the publishing company Redaktörerna.

Patrick Svensk, the executive VP of content at MTG and chairman and CEO of MTG Studios, said: “It is with great pleasure I welcome Jens as president and COO of MTG Studios.
