CBS Chello Zone UK Channels Land Trio of Acquisitions

LONDON: The Australian crime drama Underbelly is launching on CBS Action in the U.K. this fall, while CBS Drama debuts the cop series The Division and CBS Reality premieres the real-life crime show Sins & Secrets.

From the CBS Chello Zone UK bouquet, CBS Action is launching Underbelly on September 3. The 13×1-hour first season retells the 1995-2004 gangland war in Melbourne, Australia. Further installments, including Underbelly: A Tale of Two Cities, Underbelly: The Golden Mile and a new Zealand version, Underbelly NZ: Land of the Long Green Cloud, will all be shown on CBS Action.

On CBS Drama, The Division kicks off on October 1. The show features a young John Hamm and is set in a San Francisco police department. Two seasons, 22 episodes each, have been acquired from CBS Studios International.

Starting September 17, CBS Reality will be airing Sins & Secrets as a U.K. exclusive. Acquired from Rive Gauche, the documentary series profiles notorious crimes that have taken place in the U.S., focusing specifically on the effect on the community.
