Global Screen Makes Two Film Deals

MUNICH: Global Screen has secured a deal with U.S. distributor Music Box Films for the horror comedy Eddie: The Sleepwalking Cannibal as well as the crime thriller The Silence.

The U.S. indie distributor picked up Eddie, a Canadian-Danish production written and directed by Boris Rodriguez. Thure Lindhardt (Keep the Lights On, Into the Wild) and Dylan Smith star.

Music Box also went for the theatrical rights to the film The Silence, directed by Baran bo Odar. The feature is based on a best-selling novel by Jan Costin Wagner. German actors Katrin Sass, Wotan Wilke Mohring and Burghart Klaußner as well as Danish star Ulrich Thomsen lead the cast.
