Switchover Media Brings On Head of Entertainment & Factual Channels

ROME: Fabrizio Salini has joined the board of directors at Switchover Media, taking on the newly created role of head of entertainment and factual channels.

Salini will look after the new free-to-air digital TV channels targeting adult audiences that will be launching in the coming months. The new channels, one dedicated to entertainment and the other to factual, join Switchover’s existing channel offering of the kids’ services K2 and Frisbee and male-skewed GXT. The new entertainment channel will target adult female viewers. The new factual channel will be male-oriented. Salini comes to the role with previous experience at Fox Channels Italy, where he was in charge of entertainment channels, and Sky Italia, where he managed the platform’s entertainment and movie offering.
