ORF-Enterprise Wraps MIPTV Sales

VIENNA: Following a successful outing at MIPTV, ORF-Enterprise has sold titles such as the long-running crime series Tatort and Four Women and a Funeral to new broadcasters. 

Tatort was scooped up by Sony Pictures International for Eastern European territories, along with RTV in Slovenia. Italy is expect to follow. The crime series Fast Forward is headed to Fox Crime in Italy and Fox Bulgaria, with DR in Denmark picking up season four. Four Women and a Funeral is set to air on RTL Digital, Fox Crime in Italy and MTV Hungary. 

In the way of documentaries, sales were secured for Mystery of the Fairy Circles, which NHK picked up, along with other titles. Mystery of the Fairy Circles, Limits of Light and Termites: The Inner Sanctum are also headed to broadcasters in Italy, Canada, Russia, Poland, Turkey and Iran. Globosat of Brazil took Termites: The Inner Sanctum, while other doc titles were sold into Mexico and Argentina. 

Switzerland and Iceland are again set to broadcast the classical music program Christmas in Vienna. Summer Gala Concert Grafenegg got picked up in Russia and will be aired for the first time in Sweden. 

Children’s series such as Explorer Express and Seven Wonders were sold to ARTE.
