FME Hires Regional SVP of Content & Co-Productions

LONDON: Solomon Nwabueze has been appointed to the role of senior VP of content/IP and co-productions for EMEA and the Asia Pacific at FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME).

Based in London, Nwabueze will report into David Ellender, the global CEO of FME. He will be responsible for identifying partnership opportunities and acquiring new content in EMEA and the Asia Pacific, focusing on IP that can be exploited across multiple platforms. Nwabueze will also join FME’s global content team, managing and developing relationships with content-providers and rights holders.

Nwabueze previously ran PaperPlaneMedia and established Sony BMG’s visual media division, working as part of the senior management team to expand the company’s U.K. business. He also held the role of director of acquisitions and mergers at Warner Music International.
