Netflix Scores FME Titles for U.K. Platform

LONDON: Netflix’s new streaming service in the U.K. and Ireland has licensed a range of comedy and drama titles from FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME), scoring a total of 115 hours.

Titles under the deal include Men Behaving Badly, The Naked Civil ServantThe Strip and Falcon Beach. Netflix U.K. subscribers will also be able to access the Australian drama Satisfaction, making its British premiere on the streaming platform.

“Having previously partnered with Netflix in the U.S. and Latin America, we are thrilled to now be working with the world’s leading subscription service in the U.K. as well,” said Justin Hatfield, the senior VP of sales for the U.K., Ireland and Scandinavia at FME. “The deal with Netflix is a great example of how we are distributing our diverse catalogue of content through multiple platforms to increase our global audience reach and revenue streams.”
