Channel 4 Orders New Sketch Comedy Series

LONDON: Channel 4 has commissioned a full season of the sketch show Anna and Katy’s Television Programme from Roughcut TV.

Anna and Katy’s Television Programme is a six-part character-driven sketch show for Channel 4 that features celebrity cameos and up-and-coming talents on the sketch comedy circuit. Anna Crilly’s previous credits include Lead Balloon and Sorry I’ve Got No Head, and Katy Wix’s include Torchwood and Not Going Out. The show will be produced by Roughcut TV’s Jon Petrie with producer Ash Atalla (The Office) as executive producer. FremantleMedia Enterprises will distribute the series internationally.

Nerys Evans, the commissioning editor of comedy at Channel 4, noted, "We can’t wait to work with Anna and Katy on their wonderful new series for Channel 4.”
