New Head of Sales at ZDF Enterprises

MAINZ: Having previously served as the sales manager for CEE and German-speaking territories at ZDF Enterprises, Ralf Rückauer has now been upped to head of sales.

Rückauer is responsible for the sales of full-length programming. Rainer Hastrich, the director of ZDF.archive and contunico, and his team will continue to lead distribution for footage and clips. Rückauer has been with ZDF Enterprises since 2003. He first joined as project manager for distribution and investments, focusing on documentaries. He then became the sales manager for German-speaking countries and Central and Eastern Europe.

Fred Burcksen, the VP of sales, merchandising and co-productions at ZDF Enterprises, commented: "Ralf Rückauer is a long-serving employee who knows the sales portfolio inside out. We are confident that with him at the helm of TV program sales, we are going to be best placed to address the challenges and opportunities of the future."
