ZDF Enterprises has acquired the global distribution rights for Unbroken, a six-part crime series starring Aylin Tezel.

In the series, Tezel plays heavily pregnant Detective Superintendent Alex Enders, who disappears only to reappear a week later covered in blood, with no memory and without her baby bump. When her colleagues’ investigation into her kidnapping hits a wall, Alex takes over, defying all regulations and boundaries and risking everything to get her child back.

Produced by Network Movie for ZDFneo, Unbroken is written by screenwriter and director Marc O. Seng and film director Andreas Linke. The drama is premiering on ZDFneo this month and is available now through ZDF Enterprises.

Robert Franke, VP ZDFE.drama at ZDF Enterprises, said: “Unbroken, with its highly original plot, is a superbly crafted thriller building up tension and suspense and culminating in a gripping final episode.”
