UKTV, S4C, All3Media International Co-Commission Series

The six-episode crime drama Mudtown has been co-commissioned by UKTV, Wales’ S4C and All3Media International.

Produced by Severn Screen, Mudtown is set to star Erin Richards (Gotham, The Crown) and Tom Cullen (The Gold, Becoming Elizabeth). The series has begun filming in both English and Welsh.

It will air first on S4C Clic and BBC iPlayer in late 2024, then land on UKTV’s Alibi channel in 2025. All3Media International will handle series distribution outside of the U.K.

Georgia Lee and Hannah Daniel, writers of the series, said: “We are thrilled at the opportunity to represent the untold world of the magistrate’s court, shot through with an authentic South Walian spirit.
