Newen Distribution has landed a new deal with Amazon Prime Video for the streaming rights for the thriller-drama series The Inside Game in France.

Directed by Oscar winner Jean-Xavier de Lestrade and produced by What’s Up Films for Arte France, the series follows principled politician Guillaume Delpierre on his fight against agrochemical giant Saskia to get pesticide banned. The series launched on Amazon Prime Video France on September 27.

Malika Abdellaoui, managing director of Newen Distribution, said: “We are delighted to be teaming up with Amazon Prime Video on bringing such a premium thriller series, with great talents, both in front and not least behind the camera to its French Prime customers. The Inside Game resonates with the recent debates in both Europe and the U.S.A. for banning pesticides and give the viewers a different point of view.”
