Star Media’s The Pleasure Principle Bows on Czech TV

The Pleasure Principle, a thriller produced by Apple Film Production and co-produced by Canal+ Poland, Czech TV and Star Media, has made its debut in the Czech television market.

Directed by Dariusz Jabłoński and counting among its cast Czech film star Karel Roden, the series premiered on Canal+ in Poland this summer to positive reviews. It launched on Czech TV earlier this month, airing Mondays at 8 p.m.

The Pleasure Principle centers on a multi-threaded police investigation, which begins with the murders of young women in Warsaw, Odessa and Prague. Maciej Maciejewski, the author of The Cop penned the series’ script.
