Shahid VIP Readies The Devil’s Promise Debut

The thriller fantasy The Devil’s Promise, MBC Studios’ latest project with British screenwriter Tony Jordan, is set to launch this week on Shahid VIP.

Titled Waad Iblis in Arabic, The Devil’s Promise is a Shahid Originals title that counts among its diverse cast Egyptian lead Amr Youssef, Tunisia’s Aïcha Ben Ahmed and U.S. star Paula Patton, as well as Fathy Abdel Wahab, Yaqoub Alfarhan, Ahmed Magdy, Ahmed Al Refaei, Mohamed Yousry, Mohamed Marzban, Khaled Kamal, Moataz Hisham, Mourad Makram, Amr Gamal and the late Maha Abou Ouf.

Jordan (Rashash, Blood Oath, EastEnders, Hustle, Life on Mars) is at the helm, alongside Anji Loman Field (EastEnders, Doctors, Holby City), Richard Bellamy (Rashash, Let’s Go Home), Sheikha Suha Al Khalifa (Rashash) and Radwa Shahine. It also marks the return of Colin Teague (Rashash, The Last Drop, Holby City, Torchwood, The Sarah Jane Adventures, Doctor Who and Being Human).

The Devil’s Promise is slated for launch on Shahid VIP on September 16.
