SBS Australia Takes Drama Package from ESI

Endemol Shine International (ESI) has sold a package of drama series, for a total of 126 hours, to SBS in Australia for its on-demand AVOD service.

The deal includes Broadchurch, The Tunnel, The Bridge, Blue Murder, Dark Matter and Continnum. “SBS On Demand offers premium content from around the world and this new collection represents a diverse and extraordinary mix of international programming,” said Peter Andrews, SBS’s head of network programming.

Cathy Payne, chief executive of Endemol Shine International, added, “ESI is pleased to be continuing our relationship with SBS Television Australia for their SBS On Demand platform. This package features incredible dramas across crime, politics and stunning sci-fi which Australian audiences will love”.
