ORF’s Soko Kitzbuehel Heads to France, Switzerland

ORF-Enterprise has licensed two seasons of its popular detective series Soko Kitzbuehel to Canal+ in France and RTS in Switzerland.

Both broadcasters picked up 28 episodes of the long-running Austrian drama, which has previously sold to Italy, Germany, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Lithuania, the U.S., Canada, China and Iran.

“French-speaking audiences now have the opportunity to enjoy premium content made in Austria on Canal+ in France and RTS in Switzerland,” said Armin Luttenberger, head of content sales international at ORF-Enterprise. “After the success of the series in Italian-speaking Europe of the past year, we are extremely happy about the rapid expansion of the viewership of our long-running detective-series Soko Kitzbuehel.”
