Norman Reedus (The Walking Dead) has founded a new production venture, bigbaldhead, and will adapt AfterShock Comics’ book series Undone By Blood.

Reedus has set up bigbaldhead along with Brillstein Entertainment’s JoAnne Colonna, with former AMC exec Amanda Verdon to head the company. Reedus, Colonna and Verdon will executive produce the series adaptation of the comic along with AfterShock Comics’ Lee Kramer and Jon Kramer.

From the minds of Lonnie Nadler and Zac Thompson (The Dregs, X-Men, Her Infernal Descent) and artist Sami Kivela (Abbot, Tommy Gun Wizards), the neo-Western comic depicts the hard truth of seeking vengeance in the real world. In the early 1970s, Ethel Grady Lane returns to her hometown of Sweetheart, Arizona, with one thing on her mind: killing the man who murdered her family. But first, she’ll have to find him.

AfterShowck’s Jon Kramer said: “Undone By Blood is a great book from incredibly talented creators that we are very proud of. Working together with Norman Reedus, and his talented team, JoAnne and Amanda from bigbaldhead, to bring this book to the small screen will be a rewarding experience. We look forward to creating something very special.”
