Nicely Entertainment has acquired international rights for the ALLBLK legal drama series Lace.

Lace follows the courtroom, boardroom and bedroom chess matches of Lacey McCullough (Maryam Basir), a prolific lawyer for the rich and powerful in Los Angeles who can make anyone’s problems disappear (except her own). Season two of Lace premieres June 29 in North America on AMC Networks-owned ALLBLK.

Nicely will launch the series to the international market during MIPCOM.

The drama is co-created and executive produced by Katrina Y. Nelson, Adam Starks (Snowpiercer) and Tracy Grant (Lincoln Heights). Michelle Ebony Hardy serves as executive producer and showrunner, alongside Nelson, in association with Kemy Time Productions.

Nicely Entertainment’s executive VP of distribution and co-productions, Scott Kirkpatrick, said: “We’re thrilled to bring Lace to the international market. This series offers incredible dramatic story arcs, unlimited episode potential and is ripe for international format opportunities. We’re excited to be in business with Kemy Time and cannot wait to secure this with our clients and partners internationally.”

Kemy Time said: “We are ecstatic to partner with Nicely Entertainment and work with Vanessa Shapiro and Scott Kirkpatrick, who are proven professionals in the entertainment industry. It feels great to have partners who are collaborative and supportive and share our vision to bring elevated and diverse storytelling to the Global audience. We also want to thank Scott Paskoff at Cedar Shore Productions, who saw the value in Lace and facilitated this international deal.”
