Mediacorp Launches Kin Fanfiction Contest

Mediacorp has launched a fanfiction story writing contest for its long-form drama series Kin.

The contest gives fans a chance to create alternate storylines for the show and see their ideas brought to life in a special Kin spin-off series. Not only can they explore possible storylines with familiar Kin characters, but they can also develop a spin-off character in an expanded Kin universe.

Entries will be judged for their quality of writing and suitability by their voice and writing style, content and originality, and adaptability. The top ten shortlisted entries will receive a 12-month premium subscription to meWATCH and a limited-edition Kin tumbler collectible. The best four out of the ten entries will also win a cash prize and the opportunity for their entry to be adapted into an episode of Kin.

Entries can be submitted through April 20.
