MADD Inks Deals for Hit Dramas

MADD Entertainment has closed a raft of new deals for My Wonderful Life, Blooming LadyDirty Laundry and Margarita.

My Wonderful Life, Ay Yapım’s series about a relentless social climber who will do anything to stay on top, has been licensed into Argentina, Chile, Panama, Peru, the U.S., Puerto Rico, Albania, Bulgaria, Georgia, Israel, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Montenegro, Russia, CIS countries and Uzbekistan.

The series aired in Turkey under the title Şahane Hayatım and was previously licensed in Spain, MENA, Hungary, Macedonia and Africa.

Blooming Lady, which launched on Show TV as Bahar, has been licensed to a dozen new broadcasters and platforms in Argentina, Chile, Panama, the U.S., Puerto Rico, Bulgaria, Greece, Israel, Montenegro, Uzbekistan and Russia and CIS.

MADD also inked new deals for Dirty Laundry, Medyapım’s drama about the cleaners, caregivers and household help who work behind the scenes to make a wealthy lifestyle possible and how they can climb the ladder of success to become one of the wealthy. The series, now in its second season in Turkey on NOW, has now been acquired in Argentina, Chile, Panama, Peru, Albania, Israel and Russia and CIS. It is already licensed in Spain, MENA, Kazakhstan and Romania.

In addition, MADD has completed new sales for Margarita, the spin-off to Cris Morena’s hit series Floricienta that debuted across Latin America in September on Max. Floricienta told a modern-day Cinderella story, with Florencia, an irrepressible singer, befriending a family of rich siblings and falling for their authoritarian eldest brother. Margarita follows the adventures of Florencia’s daughter, Margarita, who, like her mother, has an optimistic and dreamy view of life, despite being brought up as an orphan. Margarita ends up being a protege of her villainous aunt Delfina, who appropriated her family’s fortune by substituting a lookalike for Margarita.

MADD has sold Margarita to broadcasters in Argentina, Panama, Ecuador, El Salvador, Honduras, Uruguay, Bolivia, Venezuela, Paraguay and Colombia.
