Dori Media Group has launched the new 20-episode series Young Suchard, following the early life of international mentalist Lior Suchard.

“Lior Suchard has become a true global sensation with his mentalist abilities, and Young Suchard will tell the truly remarkable story of how he discovered his unique powers and learned how to utilize them,” said Nadav Palti, CEO of Dori Media. “This series will clearly have universal appeal and offer a fun hour of television that the entire family can enjoy.”

The drama will tell the story of how Suchard rose to become a international phenomenon—known for his performances for A-list celebrities, global business tycoons, prime-time TV specials and shows for Fortune 500 companies across more than 90 countries—and offer a glimpse into some of the secrets behind his special abilities. In the series, together with a group of underdog kids who become his closest friends, Suchard uncovers his unique abilities and learns how to use them for mentalist manipulation, problem-solving and even to find his first love.

Suchard commented, “People around the world always ask me two things: ‘How do you do it?’ and ‘How did it all begin?’ So, together with Dori Media, we created a series that’s real, authentic and totally made up but will definitely answer those questions.”

Young Suchard is being produced and distributed globally by Dori Media and is expected to make its debut on Kan Kids in Israel later this year. The series is created by Elad Chen, Suchard, Michael Stern and Shlomit Arviv and directed by Aaron Geva and Mickey Triest.
