Keshet International has secured a multi-title agreement with WarnerMedia Latin America for HBO Max that comprises three drama series.

HBO Max, which recently launched in 39 territories in Latin America and the Caribbean, secured the exclusive rights to all three seasons of BBC One’s The A Word. The award-winning family drama, starring Christopher Ecclestone, is based on Keren Margalit’s Yellow Peppers.

Ori Elon and Yehonatan Indursky’s Autonomies was also licensed to HBO Max in Latin America. The series focuses on the issues of identity, religion, politics and personal freedom. It was originally produced for the Israeli network HOT by United Studios of Israel.

The Turkish drama 7 Faces, from Bir Films, is a distinctive and thought-provoking series for BluTV featuring seven intertwined stories of modern life in Istanbul. It has now been picked up exclusively in Latin America for HBO Max.

Kelly Wright, Keshet International’s senior VP of new business and distribution, said, “As more VOD platforms launch or extend their reach into new territories, like HBO Max in Latin America, we’re experiencing a growing demand for all of our hand-picked dramas. With viewers around the world becoming increasingly open to foreign-language titles, it’s an exciting time to be a distributor of quality international dramas.”
