Grupo Mediapro in Co-Pro Deal with Argentina’s Oficina Burman

MADRID/BUENOS AIRES: Europe’s Grupo Mediapro has partnered with Argentine producer Oficina Burman to develop a range of new TV content.

Through the agreement, the two companies will work together on productions and formats for the international market. The deal follows a recent partnership between Grupo Mediapro and Ran Tellem for similar content output.

Grupo Mediapro has developed several prime-time dramas in Spain, among them Vis a Vis and Aguila Roja. It has most recently produced the Jude Law-starring series The Young Pope, in association with Sky Italia, HBO and CANAL+ in France.

Oficina Burman is led by Argentine filmmaker Daniel Burman, who has directed and produced a slew of movies and TV shows. He is currently working with Globo on their international series Supermax and with Netflix on Edha, the streaming platform’s first original drama produced in Argentina.
