Eccho Rights has sold the British crime drama Granite Harbour to BritBox for North America and Acorn TV for Australia and New Zealand.

The drama centers on ex-RMP officer Davis Lindo, who heads to Aberdeen to train as a detective on the DUO Commonality Scheme. When a high-profile figure is found dead on his first day on the job, he finds himself thrown into the deep end.

Produced by LA Productions in association with Dopamine, the series debuted last December on BBC One and BBC Scotland. It will debut on BritBox in the U.S. and Canada on August 1, with a premiere on Acorn TV in Australia and New Zealand later this fall.

Lucy Roberts, director of sales at Eccho Rights, said: “We are thrilled that BritBox and Acorn TV have picked up Granite Harbour. Viewers in the U.K. loved this fish-out-of-water story, and we can’t wait to share it with audiences in North America, Australia and New Zealand.”
