eOne Notches Up Operación Marea Negra Sales

Entertainment One (eOne) has secured a new round of international sales for Operación Marea Negra, based on real-life events depicting the first narco-submarine intercepted in Europe.

The four-part series has been licensed to more than 60 territories, with partners including The Roku Channel (U.S. and Mexico), SBS (Australia), AMC Networks International (Latin America), TELUS (Canada), TV+ (Turkey), Ziggo (Netherlands), TVNZ (New Zealand) and Disney’s owned FOX channel (Spain).

Operación Marea Negra is produced by Ficción Producciones (3 Roads, Unauthorised Living). Production recently wrapped on a second season.

Alongside the scripted drama, there’s a four-part companion docuseries: Operación Marea Negra: The Suicidal Mission. The doc has been licensed to The Roku Channel (U.S.), SBS (Australia), Ziggo (Netherlands) and TELUS (Canada).
