eOne Scores Global Sales for The Rookie: Feds

Entertainment One (eOne) has closed sales for The Rookie: Feds, headlined by Niecy Nash-Betts, to more than 110 territories.

The series has been picked up Sky (U.K.), Seven Network (Australia), yes DBS (Israel), TVNZ (New Zealand), Talpa (the Netherlands), M-Net (Africa), WOWOW (Japan), TV2 (Norway), Síminn (Iceland) and SBS (Belgium).

The series stars Nash-Betts (Reno 911!, Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, When They See Us) as Simone Clark, the oldest rookie in the FBI. She is a force of nature, working with her new colleagues at the Bureau to bring down the country’s toughest criminals. Additional cast members are Frankie R. Faison, James Lesure, Britt Robertson, Felix Solis and Kevin Zegers.

The Rookie: Feds is a spin-off of ABC’s The Rookie. Both series air back-to-back on Tuesday nights on ABC in the U.S. The original series is created by Alexi Hawley and stars Nathan Fillion (Castle, Firefly, Modern Family) in the lead role. Hawley and Terence Paul Winter are the co-creators, co-showrunners and executive producers for the spin-off.

eOne is the lead studio and international distributor of The Rookie: Feds, a co-production with ABC Signature, a part of Disney Television Studios.

“We’re delighted with the tremendous response we’ve received in expanding The Rookie franchise with our newest installment, The Rookie: Feds,” said Stuart Baxter, president of international distribution at eOne. “The Rookie franchise has proven to be a ratings winner in the U.S., and we’re looking forward to replicating that success with our international partners around the globe.”
