BritBox is set to roll out a new collection of classic Coronation Street and Emmerdale episodes on the service in the U.K. later this month.

Over thirty of the best episodes from the British soap operas have been selected to showcase the most momentous moments from both series, spanning four decades. The classic episodes will include the first episode of Emmerdale from October 1972, and the memorable Coronation Street episode from 1974 where Bet, Emily, Deirdre, Mavis, Rita, Betty, Annie and Hilda holiday in Majorca. They will launch on BritBox in the U.K. on May 14.

BritBox will also be launching brand-new, hand-picked collections for soap fans, including Classic Couples, Soap Disasters, Hatches, Matches and Dispatches and Four Weddings and a Funeral, among others. Collections will also be devoted to Soap Legends such as William Roache who plays Corrie’s Ken Barlow.

Further, ITV Hub is launching new vintage episodes of Coronation Street and Emmerdale on the catch-up service every weekday.
