CJ ENM has unveiled a host of brand-new and returning K-dramas for its domestic and international audiences.

Arthdal Chronicles is set to return for its second season on September 9, while two more titles, Cold Blooded Intern and Twinkling Watermelon, make up a brand-new slate for CJ ENM.

Arthdal Chronicles: The Sword of Aramun, a fantasy saga, is headlined by Jang Dong-gun, Lee Joon-gi, Shin Se-kyung and Kim Ok-vin. From CJ ENM’s drama hub Studio Dragon, the inaugural episode of the second season is slated to air on affiliate channel tvN in South Korea and worldwide through Disney+. The new chapter in the series explores themes of fate, legend and valor.

Also produced by Studio Dragon, the romance-drama Twinkling Watermelon features Ryeoun, Choi Hyun-Wook and Seol In-ah. The story follows Eun-gyeol, a young Child of Deaf Adults (CODA), who finds himself stranded in an unfamiliar past, leading to the formation of a musical ensemble. It is scheduled for an autumn debut on tvN.

Cold Blooded Intern, also one of CN ENM’s brand-new titles, features Ra Mi-ran and Uhm Ji-won. Having recently premiered on August 11 on CJ ENM-launched OTT platform, TVING, the series captures the dynamics of a Korean workplace and the relationships within it.

Sehee Jang, head of global marketing for CJ ENM, said: “We stand fully prepared to deliver an eclectic array of entertainment genres to global audiences through our K-content. The ever-growing international recognition garnered by our original productions is a testament to our commitment to excellence here at CJ ENM.”
