Cineflix Rights Signs Global Scripted Deals

Cineflix Rights has closed a raft of scripted deals for international and English-language dramas around the world.

The multi-award-winning police corruption thriller Manayek, produced by Yoav Gross Productions for Israel’s Kan 11 Network, has been picked up by MX Player in India and Filmin in Spain.

MX Player also acquired all four seasons of the supernatural series Wynonna Earp, which is produced by IDW Entertainment, Cineflix Studios and SEVEN24 Films for SYFY in the U.S. and CTV Sci-Fi Channel in Canada.

In Israel, Hot has bought seasons one and two of the Canadian series Happily Married, produced by Productions Casablanca, and the Icelandic political drama The Minister, produced by Sagafilm.

The latest season of Coroner has been acquired by Talpa Network in the Netherlands and Sky Italia and Rai in Italy. The series is produced by Muse Entertainment, Back Alley Films and Cineflix Studios.

Acorn TV (India), Sky Italia (Italy) and BritBox (Africa) have bought seasons one and two of Whitstable Pearl, a crime series set in an English seaside town. It is produced by Buccaneer Media for AMC Networks’ Acorn TV in the U.S. and U.K.

Ireland’s TG4 acquired the French crime drama Rebecca, produced by Elephant for TF1, while Scotland’s STV picked up the U.K. and Ireland rights to the Australian psychological thriller Secrets and Lies, produced by Hoodlum, Screen Australia and Screen Queensland for Network Ten.
