Beneath the Surface Sells to Viaplay, HBO Nordics & More

Dynamic Television has signed up a raft of new broadcast partners for the drama thriller Beneath the Surface, produced by Letterbox Filmproduktion in co-production with ZDF.

The eight-part event series has been acquired by Viaplay in the U.S. and U.K., as well as by SBS Australia, OTE Greece, HBO Nordics and Stream in Belgium. These deals join previously announced sales to SVT in Sweden, NRK in Norway, YLE in Finland and DR in Denmark.

Set in an island paradise, four inseparable friends created the perfect life together: The friends’ children have become like siblings, living carefree and protected in an environment based on trust and friendship. But then misfortune strikes. On a sailing trip, one of the children disappears overboard, and suddenly nothing is what it seems.
