Amuz Distribution Acquires Larry

Amuz Distribution has added the dramedy Larry to its portfolio.

From Avenue Productions, the series follows a former undercover police officer, Larry. After his reputation is tarnished by a corruption case, he must navigate a slew of new, tragic life circumstances.

Josée Desrosiers, producer for Avenue Productions, added: “Amuz Distribution is the perfect partner for Avenue Productions. They have international contacts and a stellar reputation, as well as the sensibilities to represent our special series Larry. We are confident audiences around the world will be moved by the program.”

Additionally, Amuz Distribution’s series About Antoine is the recipient of multiple awards this month. The Prix Gémeaux in Montreal bestowed the Best Supporting Role in a Comedy award for actress Micheline Bernard, while at La Rochelle at the Festival de la Fiction, About Antoine received the Best Francophone Foreign Fiction Award. MIPCOM also named the series one of the finalists for its Diversify TV Awards.

About Antoine is a story of love and family triumphing over limitations. Inspired by true events, the series tackles a rarely explored theme in fiction: life with a disabled child.
