all3media Launches New Drama Label

all3media has launched a new scripted production label, West Road Pictures, fronted by Jonathan Fisher.

Fisher recently produced Blood, starring Adrian Dunbar and written by Sophie Petzal, for Virgin Media Television Ireland. West Road Pictures will be producing Blood season two this year.

Fisher joined Company Pictures in 2015 and served as executive producer for the 20th anniversary season of Midsomer Murders for ITV. Ellie Birnie will be joining Fisher as the new company’s head of development.

Fisher, who assumes the role of managing director, said: “I’m thrilled to be launching West Road Pictures and to be working with a fantastic range of emerging and established talent. I’m particularly pleased to be continuing my association with the dynamic and ambitious team at all3media, at a time when new opportunities are opening up for scripted globally.”

all3media CEO Jane Turton said: “Jonathan has an exciting vision for his new label. Blood is an example of the sort of high-quality contemporary drama series that West Road Pictures plans to produce for a global audience.”
